MEDIA ACCREDITATION

The United States of America and the Government of India are pleased to announce the availability of media accreditation applications for the 2017 Global Entrepreneurship Summit to be held November 28 – 30, 2017, in Hyderabad, India.

Members of the media wishing to cover the GES must apply for a GES media credential by no later than 5:30 PM EDT (Eastern Daylight Time) on October 20, 2017.

Apply Here

Please complete all required fields, and ensure any personal information entered is exactly as it appears on any legal/travel documentation. Failure to complete all fields may disqualify your application. Applying more than once per applicant may also revoke eligibility to receive a credential.  Any applications received after the close of the media credentialing deadline will not be considered, and no late registration will be permitted.

Media accreditation is open only to journalists, broadcasters, photographers, film and television camera crews and technicians. Due to capacity limitations, some announced events – including plenary and breakout sessions – may require an additional underlay for access.

On average, the application takes approximately 5 minutes to complete, and must be submitted in a single sitting. A media credential request must be accompanied by two documents at the time of submission: 1) a government-issued photo identification card or official photo identification card issued by their news organization, and 2) a letter from their employer on official letterhead verifying their current employment as a journalist and assignment to the GES from the news organization.

Please note that submission of an application does not guarantee or constitute approval, and that Summit accreditation is independent from the visa process necessary for travel to the India. Visa approval does not guarantee Summit accreditation, nor vice-versa.

Media planning to travel to India are strongly urged to start the visa application process for a Journalist Visa (J-visa) from the respective Indian Embassy/High Commission/Consulate as soon as possible regardless of the GES accreditation process. Media attending the GES need to apply for Information on journalist visas can be accessed here.
